Feature Overview: Tips on Customer Rating Page
When a customer completes a ride and is prompted to rate the driver, they will have the option to add a tip. The default tip suggestions (e.g.,$5, $10, $20,) are provided for convenience, but the customer can also enter a custom amount if they prefer.
Admin Control of Tips Option
Admins have full control over the tip suggestions and the visibility of the tips option on the customer rating page.
Configuring Default Tip Suggestions
The Admin can manage the default tip amounts displayed to customers. By default, the amounts are $10, $20, and $30. However, the Admin can specify custom amounts in the settings. Once configured, the specified amounts will appear as suggestions on the customer's rating screen.
Steps:
⦁ Navigate to the Admin dashboard.
⦁ Open the Settings >> General Settings section.
⦁ Enter the desired tip suggestions (e.g., 5, 15, 25).
⦁ Click SUBMIT to apply changes.
Enabling or Disabling Tips on the Customer Rating Page
The Admin can choose whether or not the tip option is available to customers when they rate a driver. If the tips option is disabled, the customer will only see the rating page
without the option to leave a tip.
Steps:
⦁ Go to the Admin dashboard.
⦁ In theSettings >> General Settings section, toggle the Disable Tips button.
⦁ On: Tips will be visible to the customer.
⦁ Off: The tip option will be hidden.
⦁ Click Submit.
