What selling code taught us
From 2017 our taxi and delivery source code went to 1,800+ businesses in 120+ countries. The ones that struggled rarely struggled with the code. They struggled with hosting, app store rejections, OS updates, payment gateway changes, and a driver who could not log in at 2 am.
A seller is paid on the sale. After that, the next sale matters more than your launch. We know, because that was our business for eight years, and a sales focus makes it hard to help anyone grow.
Buying and deploying code does not run a business. On the managed platform you run the business and we run the technology: servers, updates, app stores, monitoring and support.
