FAQ
Voice call questions answered
Which plan includes voice calls?
WebRTC voice calls are included in the Pro tier at no extra cost. 3CX masked calling is a separate add-on with its own pricing.
What's the difference between WebRTC and 3CX?
WebRTC calls are free, in-app, peer-to-peer voice calls — both parties must be online in the app. 3CX is a traditional phone masking add-on that routes calls through virtual numbers so real phone numbers are never shared, even over regular phone networks.
What happens if the driver is offline?
WebRTC requires both parties to be online in the app. If the driver is offline, the customer can use in-app chat instead. With the 3CX add-on, calls can be routed to the driver's phone via a masked number.
Are phone numbers shared?
No. With WebRTC, all calls happen within the app — no numbers involved. With the 3CX add-on, calls route through virtual masked numbers, so neither party sees the other's real number.
Is there a cost for WebRTC calls?
No. WebRTC calls are peer-to-peer over the internet and included free in the Pro tier. The 3CX add-on may have per-minute costs depending on your 3CX provider.
What is LiveKit?
LiveKit is the open-source WebRTC infrastructure that powers in-app voice calls. It handles signaling, media routing, and NAT traversal — all self-hosted with zero per-minute fees.
