Payment questions answered

Which payment gateways are supported?

Stripe and Square for card payments, plus cash on delivery. Additional gateways can be added as customisation.

Are there per-transaction fees?

Exicube does not charge transaction fees. You pay the gateway's standard processing fees directly (e.g., Stripe 2.9% + 30¢).

How do automated payouts work?

Using Stripe Connect, drivers receive automated weekly payouts every Monday. Commission is deducted before payout. Manual payout requests are also available.

What about Google Maps costs?

We use open-source maps and routing, which is why they're included at no extra cost — saving you an estimated $500–2,000+/mo compared to Google Maps API fees. If you prefer Google Maps, bring your own API key and we'll configure it. You pay Google directly.

Can I charge different commission rates?

Yes. Configure commission percentage per service type, per vehicle type, or per driver tier from the admin panel.

Does tipping work with all payment methods?

Yes. In-app tipping is available after ride completion for all payment methods including card and cash. Tips go 100% to the driver (excluding standard third-party payment processing fees).

Do you generate PDF receipts and reports?

Yes. The platform auto-generates branded PDF ride receipts (A4 with route details and fare breakdown), delivery order receipts, and driver earnings statements with commission breakup, tax calculation, and cash/card split.
