Vendor portal questions answered
How is the Vendor Portal different from the Admin Panel?
The Admin Panel gives the platform owner full control over all vendors, products, and settings. The Vendor Portal is a scoped dashboard for individual vendors — they can only see their own products, orders, and earnings.
Can vendors add their own products?
Yes. Each vendor manages their own product catalog including images, pricing, variants, and stock levels. New products can optionally require admin approval before going live.
How do vendor payouts work?
Vendors receive automated weekly payouts via Stripe Connect (every Monday). Platform commission is deducted before payout. Vendors can also request manual early payouts.
Can I set different commission rates per vendor?
Yes. The admin can configure a global commission rate and override it per vendor from the admin panel.
Is the Vendor Portal a web app or mobile app?
It's a responsive web application — vendors can access it from any browser on desktop or tablet.
